It's expensive at $229, is it worth it? any thoughts appreciated.

I'm planning to buy one next weekend in Knoxville, so I'm interested to see what responses you get. I've read where a lot of people like them.

I have had mine for over 10 years. I use it everyday. Its been worth every penny. Once you master getting your fold straight of grain you can cut any shape.

I got one for free from a friend.

It is like having a Cuisinart in the kitchen. Big, heavy, expensive, and in the way most of the time. I like my German knife better in the kitchen and I like my rotary cutter and regular set of rulers better in the sewing room.

However, I do not usually like any fancy tools. I try and keep it simple.

Well gee, if you're not really interested in having/keeping it, I'd consider taking it off your hands.

LOVE MINE!!! Would not give it up for anything. You could have my husband first!

Loved mine so much that I bought one for my mom. And she loves hers too. We are both total converts.

And with my last Craigslist find I can not leave it out full time. I found a television stand with the Lazy Susan top so it spins 360*. Perfect for my QuiltCut. Would definitely purchase again regardless of the cost. A true God send. Especially with my Arthritis/Lupus and shoulder problems.

My QuiltCut on its new stand.
