AkBelles sent me this beauty! I was so in love with it I bought the pattern myself! It's probably hard to see..but the edges of the trees are 3-D..turned over and sewed down in a cathedral windows technique.
The name of the pattern is called "Spring into Christmas" ..by a local pattern author in Alaska. Ak wanted pebbling around the trees....all the other quilting is fairly simple to just make those trees pop out. I outlines the holly in the border ...very nice quilt. I quilted this all freehand on my INNOVA> I used HObbs polydown batting. Thanks for looking. Charisma Back |

OH WOW!!! A beauty by you both.

Beautiful quilt by both you and the piecer! I love all the pebbles. Do you use your regular handles on you Innova or micro handles for the pebbling?
|
Gorgeous!!!! I've never seen the cathedral window technique used that way -- very unique!!! As always, I absolutely LOVE your quilting!!!!!!
