I went to my local Goodwill store yesterday and found this 1954 Singer 306 K, plugged it in and it worked beautifully. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is worth. I paid $17.99 for it, it was mounted in a wood cabinet. Thought I would attempt to refinish the cabinet.

It looks to be in wonderful condition and you were lucky to find it. They are going for up to $180.00 on E-bay right now.

You found a beauty! Mine is the strongest machine I have. I got needles online as they are different from standard needles.  I paid $59 and thought it was a super deal.

You got a deal....that's for sure :D She's a beauty!
I love the old machines. Is this your first one because it certainly won't be your last. Once you get the first vintage machine you become infected with a very serious virus that causes you to seek and buy all of the old machines that you can...until your family thinks you are nuts  |
