While vacationing in St. Louis area, picked up the Bow Tuck Bag pattern at The Quilted Fox quilt shop in Kirkwood. Great shop if you are in the area! Any advice on the Bow Tuck before I get started? Thanks!

Yep, I agree... go to the tutorial on here and look at the pictures...it make a lot more sense once you have seen it and looked the pattern over.

They aren't hard after the first one :)

Easy and fun to make...I'm on my third one...!!! I just went by the directions and found them to be easy and for me that's saying something...I'm a "show me" and let me "make it" kind of gal....You will love this purse!

Attach the outside pocket to the upper half of the outside before you attach the bottom half of the outside.

Don't worry when it says to quilt the sections, it can be as easy or as busy as you like. Also, it is easier to sew with a walking foot because at times you are sewing through 2 layers of material and the batting and around the top, also through the handles. Good luck. By the way I have made appx. 20 and get lots of compliments on them whenever I carry one.

Take your time. If you don't understand something walk away have a coffee and think about what it said, then go back. If you still don't understand ask here, someone will be able to help.
The instructions could be more user friendly but they aren't impossible. As has been stated there are some tutes on this board. I made one 2 days ago that I made so many mistakes on but was able to fix them.
Have fun.

As katesnanna, said take your time. Read the directions and then reread. As your reading picture in your head what you have to do. As she said also, if you don't understand something, walk away from it.
