I am new to this site and I know it will be enjoyable...already I have a question for everyone...do you recognize this block...and does anyone know where I could purchase the pattern??? I believe it is an eight pointed star block and the petals and center of the flower are inset that is to say machine stitced into the star...Thankyou so much, in advance, for looking and a response if able

Someone here posted a tute for this block awhile back, I wish I could remember.

i have seen this block before cant remember the name will look for it I looked and looked and could not find it and I know i had found it once before. I almost bought an antique quilt with this pattern. I thought it was some type of sunflower but could not find it
