The owner is a member of one of the guilds I belong to. I haven't used any of their cloth yet, but the local folks do like it. Unfortunately I was too drained from our Cub Scout camping trip to go on the plant tour in May.

Cheers, K

I love Spoonflower. I created labels for my quilts through them, and I'm happy with it. Haven't bought any for use in quilting yet.

Edit: hm- clicked through on that link, now I'm going to go wash a label, see what happens. I haven't seen the result after washing yet...

Spoonflower does not offer any help with your design. You have to get it right yourself, and they do not give you a proof of what they are going to print before printing. I have had one thing printed by them. I did not like their lack of customer service. I had questions and they just didn't come across with any help. I did go to Fabrics On Demand and Rysa went out of her way to provide me help. I cannot tell you all that she did for me, but it was extensive. I got help ganging up my designs with her. She made sure that things had enough space around them, since I had more than one design. She found out that I had a great lot to print and sent me a color blanket to make sure that things went right. She then made sure I had a proof of what they were printing and I had to okay it before they would print the order. There color is consistent. Rysa at Fabric on demand is the only one I will let print for me. Go there!

No, you don't get a proof, but you can order a 8" square swatch. With shipping I think it totals $5 or $6. Absolutely worth it (this is also what I've done for unique quilt labels- upload the design & order it as a swatch) But thanks for another place to check out! I
ll add it to my bookmarks!

I noticed the fabrics are the same thread count Moda was getting flak about using as being too thin. ?

Never ordered from them.

I just ordered a swatch. I am hoping I can use them to make photo quilts. I will let everyone know what I think when my swatch comes in.
