Thought this might be kinda fun to see what your favorite picture...or framed art is that's in your house! I have mine in my sewing room and its just one of those pictures that makes me feel warm and I smile everytime I see it!

Doesn't quite fit with the rest if the decor in our apartment but I could never part with it :)

I just love all the details!

I love your pic, too. Who's the artist? I change out quilts for decorations. My avatar is quilted with pumpkins so that goes up for fall.

The title is "Shepherdess with her Flock."
I'm usually not a huge "art" fan, but this artist, Jean Francois Millet always draws me in. I don't know why, because most of his famous painting involve farming, which is pretty foreign to me. I bought a framed print of this one at a thrift store, and it just makes me feel peaceful when I look at it. Someday, I hope to pair it with a print of this one by the same artist. The title is "Angelus":

Mine is a painting that my husband and I bought when we were first married. It is a Venetian scene and goes well with the Venetian Carnavale Masks that he purchased for me one deployment.

EDIT: Sorry the pictures are so grainy... the underwater camera is the only camera I can find since the move

My sewing room is decorated with jigsaw puzzles of my favortie theme (quilting, Norman Rockwell, covered bridges) but my favorite has to be a picture of my great grandmother working on a lone star quilt.

Being a Minnesotan, I'm wondering if you're a Minn farm gal? As one of the resident farmers, here, I am curious as to the artist? Perhaps Bonnie Mohr, though I don't think it's quite her style.

I have a lot of nice artwork, some by Bonnie. And many of other styles/types/subjects. Though in recent times they have lost the favourite status to this one ..........

Though not for everyone, it reminds me of what I've achieved and inspires me to keep challenging myself onwards to greater things, be it quilting or other things in life!! :)
