Ours was $154.00 last month. We have a 1638 sq. ft. house to cool and heat.

Have not gotten mine yet. Not looking forward to it. Won't mind looking at the gas bill though :)

Our gas/electric comes together. A couple of months we had really mild weather, so it was slightly less than $100. I know the next one is going to be $250 or more with over 100 deg heat for a couple of weeks.

I'll take your 250 and raise you $100 more...crazy thing is my house is only 1600 square feet. but 3 kids in and out all day and central air and hot tub and garage with ceiling fans...phew DTE here love's me.

We recently got a credit on our electric account--moved into the house a year ago, and we got our hook-up deposit back for paying the bill on time every month. It could not have come at a better time.

I have often wondered how big the bills were in some of the hotter areas... WOW! as bad or worse than winter bills in the coldest areas.
I think I will stay here :D:D:D

Mine came on the 25th and was $241 for a 1450 sq .ft. We are aware fo the cost but only run the a/c at 78 to 79 degrees. My boss got hers yesterday and it was $728. They have pool and DH runs a/c at 72 year round.

I hate to see ours! We have had 19 days straight of over 90 degrees in central Indiana. We just made a new record since 1936.

I don't want to know what mine is. I am keeping it at 85 and it's running almost constantly. I can't wait for this heat wave to be over.

I dread seeing my water bill as well. I am watering the minimum that I can and make sure my foundation is protected.
