Does anybody out there still wear "Mom Jeans"? I sure do miss mine. I keep feeling like I have to pull my jeans up. Anybody out there feel the same way as I do?? Guess it's just a sign that I'm getting old ..... ugh

i agree... i like my jeans to come up over my hips.
|
I do. I was taught to get dressed in the morning and to cover myself. I hate to see a womans thong sticking out or a tramp stamp when they bend over. The jeans come down and the shirt comes up and the fat hangs out. Eeewww!!!

Mom jeans here!!! I can't stand anything even close to "low rise". Gloria Vanderbilt's Amanda jeans are pretty good Mom jeans and so are Levi's 512. I refuse to wear anything else. I'd rather look old than look like I stole my daughter's jeans!

I like my Mom Jeans too and always thought they looked especially presentable with a nice belt, shirt and sometimes a suit coat... But, no fear, (sorry I cant remember where it was - not unusual for me - may have been NY Times) I saw somewhere that "high-waisted" jeans were one of the "new" styles in jeans... LOL... yes it was this month 2011... LOL.

My kids have made fun of me their whole life for my mom jeans..but my daughter bought some at the thrift store and suprise! She loves them..KIDS!
I LOVE real denim jeans too..I hate that stretch stuff! |
The best fitting, most comfortable jeans I have found are made by Westbound sold at Dillards. Several different waist treatments but I like the no button no zipper one. They keep their shape and I feel great wearing them. And I like the fact they are age appropriate for me and still look very stylish. They come in denim, black, white, slate gray, tan, and pinstriped blue. Nice enough to dress up or down.
