By some miracle we never lost power during the hurricane but did lose cable and internet. Listening to the wind howl and the rain pelt our windows I decided to keep busy in my sewing room! I cut, pieced, quilted and bound this table topper as a gift to my cousin whom we are visiting for Labor Day.
We made it through the hurricane without any damage, all children & family on Outer Banks are accounted for and I finished a project! Thank God for all of the blessings of that day! Very busy you were. Pretty topper. I would keep this one as a reminder of how fortunate you were and call it "Irene's Inspiration". I'm sure your cousin would understand.
