My Granddaughter is expecting our first great grandchild in October. Daddy is a pilot, therefore I wanted to make something special for her. Also my granddaughter had painted the nursery in pink and soft brown. I am fairly new to quilting so was really nervous but found a cute pattern with planes. I used Minkee which I loved the feel of but was kind of hard to sew with since it slides around. Anyhow I was very happy with how it turned out and it was a hit at her baby shower.

I would never have put that black polka dot fabric with those pastels, but I LOVE it! Realy makes everything else pop.
