I have enjoyed them for the first time this year too ... planted them amidst my Morning Glory vines. If I remember correctly, they are from the same family?

I have some of them and they are great for keeping insects away. I have them at the back door and have not been bothered with flies or mosquito this year. I plan to plant them around the crape myrtles next year so maybe the Japanese beetles won't ruin them again. They are very poison.

Yes, they are from the same family. Their leaves are heart- shaped. I have morning glories planted on one side of the deck, and moonflowers planted on two sides of the deck. In the morning, I get the deep purple glories. At night, I see the moonflowers.

Sure thing. I'll collect some seeds for you. You can plant in the spring, earlier than I do. They grow in vines that like to attach themselves to vertical structures. The vines produce big (plate-sized) leaves that make a very good privacy screen for many months before the flowers bloom.

I just wish rgey lasted longer.
