Hi ladies, Just got a new serger. How do you cover her while she's threaded? I'm a stickler for keeping dust out of my tools so its just driving me crazy to leave the serger out uncovered. Can I just release the telescoping thread holder lever all the way down, threaded wothout interfering with tension etc? Thanks a bunch!!

That is what I do - just push them down and cover and carefully remove cover when ready. Never had a problem.
