I am retired in California, have sewn all my life but new to quilting. As I read some of your posts I see that I am in good, experienced company and hope to learn alot from all of you.

My son wants me to turn his many college tee shirts into a quilt and I have not worked with this fabric in quilts. Any advice to the beginner? What did you use on the back and for sashings?
How do you keep it from stretching? Thanks for your input.

I can't help you with the t-shirt quilts but have seen many pictures here of them.I know someone will be here soon to give you some tips but in the meantime go up to the top and click on search then type in t-shirt quilts or t-shirt and see what comes up. I know they're here somewhere.
