LOL
I swore I'd never sew. I am not good at spacial relations and my few attempts to sew when I was in high school were abysmal failures. Here it is, over twenty years later (ugh that hurts! LOL) and I'm trying to sew! I've sewn a few things but don't really enjoy sewing clothing. A friend has helped me understand a few basic principles of quilting and I'm hooked! I'm intimidated by the patterns and cutting so I've been looking for very basic patterns to try. I'm here to learn and to share :) Oh, I live in Richmond, VA. I have two kids, too many blogs, and lots of fun :) |
Hi Rubia and welcome from Texas. Once you've had a little success, it gets a lot less scary. I'm still avoiding curves, but I'll try them some day.

Hi Sharon, welcome from GA. Glad to have you with us.
If you are looking for a fun, easy, basic pattern I would like to suggest Yellow Brick Road. I have made many quilts by this pattern in many color combinations and it is always a winner. http://www.atkinsondesigns.com/patte...?productid=126 |
