Who is going to the NW Quilting Expo in Portland? The show starts today (9/22) but I am going on Saturday 9/24.

Absolutely! Any time I go to (or through, or anywhere near) Portland, Fabric Depot is a must.

Yes, my friend Wanda I went yesterday. Very good vendors, bought a Lakehouse table runner kit, some 1/2 yard pieces of Laurel Burch fabric and a Karla Alexander wavy ruler and pattern. There were some beautiful quilts are dispaly.

The show seemed a bit smaller than last year, but it is always enjoyable. After that we went to Fabric Depot, out to dinner, and then back to Tacoma, WA. We had a wonderful day!

I am heading there with 5 others from our quilt group this morning. I am going to try to be good....what do they say....lead me not into temptation :)

I went today and enjoyed it so much. It wasn't very crowded which always makes it more enjoyable. Oh was I tempted boy was I tempted! I managed to do some damage as usual. A few new batiks that were so different that I couldn't pass up. I also found some beautiful ribbon for my double diamond projects. There were some beautiful quilts on display and the Research for Cancer group had quilts so reasonable priced-they were a steal. A lot of them were sold for 50.00 to 100.00. Yep like I said they were a steal! Hope you all have fun!

I'm going tomorrow (Saturday) but I don't know what time yet. Dunster, maybe we'll bump into each other . . . I'll keep an eye out for you. :-D

I went yesterday with a friend from church and today with Faith. Spent a little too much both days but won two batik fat quarters in a door prize. Cool because I don't usually win things! Yes, I had a blast both visits!
