What quilting projects do you want to finish by the end of the year?

At least the four that are sitting in my sewing room. Oldest is a fall table cloth - it is half quilted...better get busy. Second is a children's quilt for Quilts for Kids - that is half quilted. Third is another children's quilt for Quilts for Kids - that needs to be quilted. and last is a 28" square that may or may not be a baby quilt. I'm going to try very hard to finish at least half of these before I start something new. LOL

i have 2 christmas quilts- one is 8 years old the other 3 years old- i would really really like to finish them both this year!
if i could just get other things out of the way...
i know- excuses, excuses-
but i do have 4 wips in front of them that really need to be finished too-
i would sure like to get those 2 done though---oh and one other quilt- which started out as a class----a class gone wrong- which i have in a file box- about $500 worth of cut up fabric in that box...it is an overwhelming project which i would really like to figure out and finish-
it is too expensive to just pass on- but still overwhelming/depressing/daunting...so--- probably not this year===maybe i could concentrate on it for an after the holidays winter project...hmmm-now you have me thinking...
i don't know how good that is! :)

Everything! My head is spinning, I think I need to go lie down now.

I am a newbie and still doing the family first - so GS, SIL and Mom's. I am so looking forward to next year when I get to do more creative and new things to try list.

Ha- that is what happens to me if I try to plan. I plan to make some small gifts for the people I work with and I think our row robin will be over by the end of the year- it is fun but I hate the deadlines... I am not a good deadline kind of person. I have to mull and get inspired...

I only committed myself to one quilt this year as a Christmas gift. I've got 4-5 tops ready to quilt, a couple that I'm almost done piecing the tops of and another I'd like to get done by then, but don't really expect to. I don't have a dedicated quilting area, so I piece when I can in my miniscule area of the bedroom, quilt when I can rearrange the dining room for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, the quilting won't be happening for another month or two as I'll be away from home most weekends.

I have a D9P in batiks that I'd like to finish, a Moda "Twiggy" quilt for son and DIL for Christmas, a "Spice Market" by Bill Kerr and Weeks Ringle top that needs quilting, and a homemade "kit" that I have put together myself which includes a Bali Pops Zinfandel jelly roll and a few of the yardages from the jelly roll that I haven't chosen a pattern for yet. The only thing that has to be done is the Moda "Twiggy" for my son and DIL for Christmas. The rest can wait.

I have 3 quilts to do before Christmas and a few handbags. My husband started a new job and will be out of the house a lot so I have plenty of time to work now.
