I have been on the lookout for a smaller machine, preferably a Janome, so I don't have to lug my Babylock back and forth to our quilt/sewing group meetings. I found a great deal on craigslist. Got myself a Janome Jem Gold for only $50! It was missing the pressure foot (interchangeable with the Babylock) and the thread spindle is broken. His wife never used it as she bought a computerized machine. I am so excited and a new thread spindle will only cost me $2.95!
