My sons girlfriend is in the hospital right now in labor. I'll be heading that way in about an hour or so. They induced her this morning and we are still waiting.

Guess she decided she can't do it without an epideral, because son said she just asked for one.

Congratulations! Hope she has the baby soon. My SIL said labor is really bad when it is induced.

an epidural wasn't the thing when i had my son, but i must say i don't remember a blessed thing. seriously. I had labor pains for one whole week before and didn't get much sleep at night due to that. maybe i just slept through the delivery!

I found induce worse only because there is no
transition point you usually start out in hard labor I had my second son induces and would run a hundred miles before I would do it again. I had all 5 of mine with no drugs or epidurals. My 4th child weight 10 # 13 oz when born and I think he was the easiest!

Good for her; take that epidural!!!! My thoughts are with all of you at this blessed time!!!
