Amazing, never though about using a regular embroidery when trying to do a large project. Where did you find the picture? Thanks for sharing.

Cute! its gonna be great. however, that is the first free standing skull I have ever seen "without" serious tooth decay! LOL

I found the pic on line and traced it from my monitor then onto the linen. I learned you want to keep the hoop and material very tight and the thread tensions real low. Otherwise you will get a bunched up or wrinkled and puckered spot like with the eyes that are a large area. I figured there would be a bit of a learning curve. I think I might just cheat and fill in a lot with a laundry marker. I'm thinking a cotton thread may shrink when washed and they might make a pucker.
This was just a test to see how it would work and look. It seems like it will work and add a detail to the piece. I'm sure once I see how I made mistakes I can improve things.
