Since I have never sewn with fleece before, my question is: My pillow form measures 27 x 27 inches. How large do I cut the fleece to cover the pillow including a seam allowance? Also, should I sew around 3 edges, then hand-sew the last edge AFTER I insert the pillow form? What size seam allowance should I use? This pillow will be used as something to sit on in my grandson's college dorm room, so I want to make sure it will be sturdy enough. If anyone has a better idea, please, I would be soooooooo greatful to hear from you.

Thank you!!

Since it's going to live in a dorm room why not make a removable case? I make most of my quilts with the back as an envelope to slip the form in

Since you're using fleece, you could also "rag" the seam on the outside, with about 1-2" allowance. I agree with making it with an envelope for ease of washing.

Thank you for getting back to me. Your idea sounds good to me.
