Okay, I found her on eBay and kept watching her and at the last minute I said to the DH and he said go for it...I bid $76.00 and WON!! She arrived on Thursday and I spent yesterday making sure she worked perfectly and calling Singer because she was so old, there was no Model Number just the serial number. She is a 1923 Singer!!! She purrs like a kitten - don't think she had been oiled in years. Named her "Penny" because she came from Pennsylvania. That is it.....no more - I now have enough sewing machines for someone who has been quilting since January....this year!!!

Very nice!! It's good to hear of good eBay purchases. I always worry about a sewing machine not working or being broken during shipping. You got a good one..... so happy for you.

Fabulous machine! How was it shipped and packaged and how much did the freight cost you?
