I know what some of the abbreviations people use are but not all where can I find a list. I assumed that DH means "dear husband" or DSIL "Dear sister in law" don't know PM, always guessing but would like to know.

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. Go to search at the top and type in Abbreviations and you will get many lists (smile).

pm is for personal message from one member to another. Click on the users name & you can send a message to them.

My favorite, I just learned last week, is FART, Fabric Aquisition Road Trip.

Its not just quilting its for everything and you are suppose to know it by osmosis.
It is very irritating.
