My husbands friend dropped by today to pick up some stuff for the dump and in the back of his truck I spotted the backing to what looked to be a quilt to me. I blew it off thinking it was probably jacked up (why else would he toss it?) but then texted my husband later on and instructed him not to let his friend toss it.

So he brings it back to me. I open it up expecting to find a mess only to find what was clearly someones masterpiece. It looks to be all hand quilted and only has one tiny little stain. If there are quilt police, there should be a quilt jail for people who cast these things off. Gah!

DN snatched it up and it's now living happily on her bed.

Lonestar pattern, no?
