What color would you use as a 2-3" border? DH says red, I think orange, or would you make the border larger that is there, I think it is toooo busy, I like plain so I am not that all crazy about this quilt. But wanted to make a maple leaf quilt.

I vote for a darker color--either the brown or green. It would probably subdue the quilt a bit. I think the quilt is great. I love fall colors.

Either the dark brown as the border and binding as well, or use the green as the border and then the brown as the binding.
