Have Janome 10000 embroidery machine. Have seen designs done by OESD where you embroidery several different 4 x 4 or 5 x 7 pictures, sew them together and they make a scenic picture. Some put ribbon, etc. where the seams are so it looks like you are looking through a window. Don't exactly know what they are called and can't find them on the internet. Anyone can help?

I don't know about OESD, but Anita Goodesign has quilte a selection of these. They are called tile scenes.

OESD had a couple and you might be able to get more from a Bernina dealer. One is called "Visions of Spring" and one is called "Visions of Fall."

Embroidery Library has a few of those, as well as BFC Creations...good luck

Here are a couple I've done, and the last link is for bfc-creations, who designed the ones I did. They are a lot of fun to do. I have made the poppy picture three times. The poinsettia is actually one of the windows designs, but I combined it and stitched it as one large design.
I have also twice done the halloween one posted above that was an Anita Gooddesigns project. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-45336-1.htm http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-104749-1.htm http://bfc-creations.com/Designs/000menus/Windows.html |
WOW I had no idea that these kind of designs were available. You may drive me back to my embroidery machine. Just flabbergasted!
