How much do you pay for thread?
 

I just purchased 1 spool of Mettler silk-finish 100% cotton. 164 yds. It cost me $4.25. I was kind of shocked. I haven't purchased thread in about 4 years. I can't remember paying that much. Is that normal or is that kind of high?

i think thats a bit high im in canada and things are ususly a bit more expensive here and i can get a spool for around 3.75 here.

Yes, it was purchased from my local favorite shop.

ive seen it for $10 in LQS...i usually get from connection threads for approx $2.50
