Anyone know where to find bobbins for my baby? I have 1 that came with her, but that's it. My other metal bobbins are too tall. Thanks, Beckie

You will love your new machine - at least I love mine! It brought back a love of sewing (and sparked an interest in vintage machines which led to buying a couple more......)
Although I would prefer the metal bobbins, when I bought a package I found they were not all the same size - some would fit on the spindle to wind, others wouldn't. So I went to the plastic ones and they are all identical. I think they are the class 66 bobbins - you can check over on Sew Classic to be sure. They are readily available.
The 185 is just a super little machine!

Wow! Looking at yours makes me want to finish cleaning up my 185!! They are just the most adorable looking machines. Something about the green. It takes the same bobbin as a model 99. Jenny at Sew Classic has them or I know that I've seen them on eBay.

Adorable machine! Looks like a fun one to take to classes. Enjoy!

You want to make sure you use metal bobbins. I got mine from Jenny's too. I have this machine and it's a cutie.

Would you believe she was this clean when I bought her? Thanks for the bobbin info

She a heavy baby...I'd have to build up some muscle to take her anywhere :D

Cutie! Makes me want to get mine out and sew with it. I know what you mean about carrying them around though! I'll wave at you the next time I head for Raleigh.
