Friday a friend picked up an electric 1928 Singer 66 in a cabinet for me. It's in great shape! She also gifted me with a pretty turquoise Singer 337 (1960's model). It needs a lot of TLC before I can plug it in to see if it runs. Apparently her step dad used it in his upholstery business and the bobbin area is packed with lint/thread.

Oh what a nice surprise. Enjoy your new machines. How fun. I was tickled over a 1955 Singer, imagine a 1928.

I have a 66 and a 99 both from 1928. It must have been a very good year for Singer!

So much fun to get "new" machines. Time to play. I have a 1928 model 99 too.

An eye lash brush (clean) works good to clean lint out of small areas - maybe a pipe cleaner
