Mug Rug Bug
 

I've been snooping around here for almost a year now, and have finally decided to start a new thread for the first time!! First let me thank all of you for your great ideas, designs, techniques, etc that you have shared. I have grabbed many and even ran with a few.

Thanks to some posts earlier this month, I have caught the mug rug bug!! Within a week I made thirteen of them to send to my senior mom in her Christmas package. She is 85 and in an assisted living residence. They will be perfect for her to give to the staff members. Seems only appropriate that I can give back to her, considering that she started me down this crafting road about sixty years ago! I had so much fun making these - trying different patterns, quilting styles and binding methods.
