Archival items no longer changing color when they've been opened??
 

The last couple days the items in archives have stopped changing color after they've been opened. The color
change made it easy to see where you left off. What happened?

the color changes are controlled by our browsing software, not by the board software.
did you recently change any settings in your browser, or update the software?

i have been unable to replicate the problem on either of my computers, or in any of the different browsers i use to test.

watch this space. perhaps somebody else will have an accurate and useful answer.

I, too, have had this occur, it will change several and then I will read one and it won't change. Have no idea why, hope someone comes up with an answer. I have not changed anything on my browser for so long I don't think it is my browser and why would it work one time and not the other, go figure. Will be anxious to see if anyone else has this problem as well.

I have been having the same problem, not changing color when read. Now today they are changing. I have not changed anything on my browser either, but am glad it is working now!

No changes in anything recently. Just checked; still not changing color on opened-&-read items. :(

Hope mine will "get over it" too. Being able to tell what you'd already viewed in archives was a timesaver.

Okay, update: now, several days later, it's again changing the color of the already-opened topics in Archives!
Just as inexplicably as when it ceased, it's resumed. Hope it lasts. (Actually I haven't checked it yet today -- "stay tuned"...)
Thanks, everyone, for your input. It helps to know it's not something we've personally been doing wrong all of a sudden.
