Quilt to showcase some beautiful fabric

Jane pieced this lovely quilt top and requested some "pretty" quilting on the top. I love quilting feathers and spoke before I thought how I would quilt them on this top. Hobbs 80/20 batting was choosen along with rust color thread and a beige thread. I had the top loaded before I had my "uh" moment on how I would quilt feathers when I could not see where I was quilting them. So.....I did the SID then removed the quilt from the frame turned it top side down quilting feathers within the SID spaces. Whether we're piecers or quilters - we will figure out how to do it.

Love the quilt, it is beautiful. But I must say your quilting is unbelieveable. Gorgeous. Terriffic job.. That kind of quilting would make even my quilts look good.
