Zooks and Sauders
 

Just received email from ZandS and, if I've got it right, it sounds like they're closing.
Did anyone else get that impression?
Anyone in the area out there who can check it out for the rest of us desperate quilters. No Hayloft and now no Zooks or Sauders! Boo Hoo.

I also got that email, however in an earlier email they said they were not closing the brick and morter stores, only the internet store was being sold.

That's what I got out of it. Just the online store will change hands.

I had thought the physiac stores were no longer affiliated with the online store over a year ago, due to inventory tracking problems.

So glad to hear it's only the online stores! Zooks is one of my fav's when I shop in Lancaster.

Only the online sales business is being sold. Sauders and Zooks remain. The online business is now this-n-thatfabrics.com and seems to have some good deals right now. The whole changeover has been nothing but confusion! I've received several emails trying to clear it up!! I hope the new owners will be more organized, but I wonder as their latest blog posting is advertising their birthday sale in June!! There are some free patterns there.
