Never sew when you're tired

I'm trying to finish this quilt for my sister and give it to her at Christmas. I am putting double borders on it, then I'll be ready to assemble and quilt. But I'm so so overtired.

Obviously....

Oh! you're funny. I get it.

Did this today with one of those super easy tissue holders! Sewed it together so that the liner showed on the outside. I'll probably use it but this happens to me alot when I'm tired. That's when I know to quit for the day!

Oh too funny. This happens to the best of us. Sorry for the un-doing that must take place now. But so far it looks very pretty.

I hate it when that happens! It is always when I am trying to do just one more thing.

Been there, done that! Take a break and then you can fix it without making the same mistake again -- done that, too!

Yes take a break or you will make even more double work for yourself...lol. We've all been there.

Yes...also should never trim the points off a diagonally set quilt when tired ;)

I've done that too. It's so annoying when you've just rippped out all that stitching and then you look at your work after you've sewn and it's the exact same problem. Take a deep calming breath before you start to sew again. Go get some coffee or take a nap then start fresh.

Believe it or not we have done this before too.
