Sewing but not quilt related question...Skirt, long or shorter?

Ok, I am making matching skirts for me and my daughter for Easter. Silly I know but oh well. I asked her if she wanted me to make her baby doll a dress and she said yes. lol

Anywho, my daughter's hits right below the knees. I made my long, to my ankles, but now I am not sure if I like that long. So need opinions....hubby says shorter, but I don't like my legs so I hate wearing short skirts but I thought about some brown boots. So opinions please:

I don't wear a skirt very often, but when I do, mid-calf is my preferred length. It is a flattering length and creates a visually pleasing relationship between skirt and top if they are different fabrics. Plus boots are great with that length as well.

Thanks...so I guess short it is...you, hubby, Mom, my sister and my cousin all said shorter. lol

I will trim it tomorrow. Been one of those days where you would love to scream then go to bed. And since Little Bit (aka our daughter) is asleep, I will take my chance to rest some!

The shorter version for sure.

I plan to shorten it today.

Any suggestions on a shirt? I have some green I thought about using for Little Bit, maybe a pillowcase type shirt, but you never know if it will be warm or cool on Easter. Or should I go with the cream color and add pops of color? What style for me?

Shorter for sure!

I shorten it today! Once I figure out the shirt part of the outfit, I will post our picture. I am even making a little dress for her doll. lol

Longer for fall and winter, shorter for spring and summer. My dd and I only wear dresses and skirts, NEVER shorts, slacks or jeans. Tea length (just below the wide part of the calf) is flattering on almost anyone.
