Screw in seam guide
Is there a screw in seam guide for a Bernina 200 machine?
|
I would think all machines would have a hole for those seam guides. You should be able to use any of them providing the screw fits into the hole. I have a couple from several machines and never think of using one for my quilting! But you should be able to adjust for 1/4 inch as long as you foot is that. I think I tried once just to see and it did the trick.

If there's a screw hole in the metal plate to the right of the feed dogs, the regular screw in guide will work. I have one from a Singer 301 that works just fine on my Bernina 153QE. :)

Hmm, can't picture what you're even talking about here?

I have a couple, decided I just needed to learn to sew a 1/4" seam without using it.

Yes there is one for the Bernina 200. Contact your Bernina dealer. They should be able to get one for you.

My Bernina guide screws into my feet. (I have a 180).

I have a Bernina 230PE and a small portable Janome, I call it baby. I got the a four piece box of accessories at Sears so I could get the walking foot for the Janome. In the box is a screw seam guide that works great on my Bernina. I love it, will use it even with the #57 foot just to keep my fabric a little straighter while feeding through. Included in the box-walking foot, seam guide, 1/4" foot for Sears/Janome machines and a free motion foot. It was $24.99 for the set. By the way, the seam guide won't work on the Janome, there isn't a screw hole to attach.
