Simplicity Rotary Cutting Machine

Does anyone have a Simplicity Deluxe Rotary Cutting machine? It claims to cut fabric strips for 1/4" to 6" wide.
I am curious as to how you like it.. pro's and con's.

Thanks

Simplicity Deluxe Rotary Cutter

Hi,

I have this machine and yes it does cut as stated BUT you must keep a hold of the fabric at the back then it cuts straight otherwise it tends to go off at an angle and you get a lovely curve :-)

Sorry, I've had 3 friends who bought them. Each were returned within a week of purchase. Would not cut straight. I have the bias tape maker (like an iron) and love it!

It gets bad reviews for quilting. Strips are not sufficiently accurate. Might be good for cutting strips for braided rugs......

I have tried to use one and it just seems like more of a hassle then using a rotary cutter and mat. You have to press the fabric and use starch really heavy to have good cuts - limp fabrics don't work too well in it
