Looking for pattern

Hi,

Does anyone know how to do an expanded pineapple block please? I was shown quickly today how to do it but have not remembered all the instructions. I know you start with two squares and sew round all four sides then cut diagonally across both ways on the top square then flip it out. But from there on I am lost. So hopefully one of you will know which block I am talking about.

Many thanks

Jenny

I just took a class on this method last week. There are two wonderful books available by Karin Hellaby called "Sew Simple Pineapple" and "Pineapple Plus" by Quilter's Haven Publications. She uses the technique you are talking about and has many ideas in her books. Tip: Use the starch-type spray (Mary Ellen's something?) when you open and press to keep your bias from getting out of control.
