Hi,

I am looking forward to BOM and getting help as I need it. I am new to quilting (3 months) and know I have a lot to learn. Love quilting and find it very relaxing.

Hello! I too have been reading for a while, still don't have the hang of all this stuff, like to never got to this page, but that is okay, will make it some day. I am retired, love to quilt, for me, piecing is a way to get to what I really enjoy, hand quilting. I meet with a few friends once a month, we try different things. My biggest project now is to teach a neighbor how to quilt, but first I have to teach her to sew. I get thoroughly wrapped up in this stuff when I talk about it, I am hoping I can teach her what she needs to know, as she needs to know, not just as it comes up. If anyone has any suggestions on how to start with her, please let me know. I have her excited about learning quilting, I don't want her to loose that because I have overwhelmed her or get her frustrated.
