Quilting a lover's knot quilt
I have completed a lover's knot quilt top and am in quandry as to how to quilt it. I'm not good at visualizing designs. I think it needs heart designs, not too busy, continuous line designs for machine quilting. Anyone with suggestions or pictures of this quilt you have made would be great to stimulate my thought processes. Thanks.

I made one for oldest Granddaughters' friend that got married last fall. I just FMQd it as I do most of my quilts. My quilts are not smart enough to tell me how to quilt them, so I am on my own.

I did a Lover's knot quilt for our son and DIL a couple of years ago. I had it quilted by a long-arm quilter and she suggested swirls since the pattern was so angular. I'll attach a couple of pictures for you to see. I think it came out beautiful!

If you don't FMQ then you can do straight line stitching either in the ditch or from corner to corner in each block.
