County Fair Entries
Every year I participate in our county fair and this year entered 5 quilts - proud to say all earned 1st place blue ribbon. At age 65, have always longed for a Best of Show and this year I got 3! I am thrilled.
One in quilts overall, 1 in special theme (favorite nursery rhyme) and one in Christmas. Just shows that you should never give up and keep learning and hopefully improving and you'll get there! :thumbup: Happy quilting all. |

Congratulations on your well-earned prizes! Which County Fair did you enter your quilts in?
Today I just went to my county fair (Erie county, NY) and there were a lot of beautiful quilts. And while there were few entries in garment sewing, one certainly caught my eye. It was a christening gown, made from the train of a bridal gown. (The entry was accompanied by a picture of the bridal gown.) |
We will be waiting for the photos.
