My new Halloween from the QB swap!
3 Attachment(s)
I jumped in and joined the Funky Halloween block swap. I sent in 48 blocks, and received back 48 of the cutest blocks ever! They are just beautiful. I have always wanted a Halloween quilt made of a huge variety of blocks, but with the orderly matchy matchy way I tend to do my quilts. I just could not do it. So this swap helped me out! Here is what I made. I have six blocks left over that I am going to save for the next Halloween swap and make myself another one... yep I am greedy! HEHEHE
Thank you so much Rachel, athenagwis for hosting this swap, and thank you so much for everyone who participated!! I did use some of the blocks I had already made up over the past couple of years into this block also. The model behind the quilt is my 14 year old 5ft 8 son, so that gives you some idea at how huge this baby is!! |
so cute......

That is fantastic!!

Wonderful! You have some of the most INTERESTING Halloween blocks I've ever seen. They make a lovely quilt.

My gosh - you sent in enough blocks for a whole quilt. How wonderful! I love Halloween and I do see my block on the top row. Great job!

Love your Halloween quilt. You have some unique blocks there. I was just thinking the other day about making one and hope it lines up good. Two of the GDs are helping (since I will be off work the next two days for Hurricane Isaac). I already have six blocks made. Thanks for sharing.
