Remember when Postal Packin Mama posted this quilt earlier this summer? Well, I was so inspired that I just had to make one of my own. I never dreamed that it would use up so many scraps, but my scrap drawers are now empty and I am one happy camper! It's big 120" by 120" and heavy, which will be wonderful come winter time. It's pieced with a QAYG method. Thanks Postal Packin Mama for your inspiration and your words of wisdom as I worked on my own! |
That is beautiful, like 2 quilts in one. I just started on a string quilt to use up some of my scraps.

Wedding quilt for my granddaughter in Annapolis. She chose the pattern and colours. It was foundation pieced (my first attempt)and hand quilted. I had trouble with the centre points matching ,hence the circles! She and new husband loved it.
Hope this posting works as I`m not that clever on the computer. edie |
