Photoshop Users??
Is anyone out there a user of any of the Photoshop programs? Aren't there several different ones and what could I do with the basic program or should I invest in the more detailed program?? I would like to use them with quilting, thanks :shock:in advance

I use the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3 which was a free download. I use it to edit my pictures, not sure how you plan to use it in quilting.

I have Photoshop elements 9 I had Photoshop elements 2 but it would not work on my new computer

Just make sure that the operating system is compatible with your computer. Photoshop elements 10 is a very good program which costs about $100AU. If you want to buy CS6 version it costs $4,344.00, so that might be the decider. The full programs are for professionals and enthusiasts and the elements programs for happy snappers.
I have Elements 2 and it is still very good for quilt designs. As photography is my hobby, it is also good to use the CS4 program that I have. Some of CS4 will not work fully on Windows 7 but ok on Vista and XP. |

I have old Photoshop 2.0!! I've looked at the "new" Photoshops but can't find that they do anything more than my old one! I like that it enables me to "Save for Web" so pictures upload quickly but look great.

I take pictures of all my quilts and some blocks for myself and to post! Photoshop is very handy for that!
