Cowgirls and Lace quilt with matching pillow
 

Here is the second quilt I have have ever made. :) This one is special, as it was made for my best friend's first born, Sophia <3

Again, the pictures dont do the colors justice, as the lighting in my house is less than ideal for...well, ANYTHING....

But here you go.

45 x 55 inches, double-batted for extra weight and coziness. Tied with "Cream and Sugar" natural cotton yarn, back is plain muslin. (NOTE: This blanket was made more for Mommy and Baby to SHARE, not for baby's crib!!! She will be able to use it once she gets older though.)
The "red" squares are actually a pretty magenta, and the denim squares (including the cowgirl and pony appliques) are actually from a jumper that no longer fit my little one <3 Matching pillow is 12 x 16. Satin binding.

Thanks again for looking...again! ;) (this is by far my favorite so far, and I wish I could make an identical one for each of my girls. LOL!)

She will love it ! The lace is an added touch :)

Forgot to mention... the brown floral "leather" patches are actually fabric made to look and feel like tooled leather. LOVE it!

(I actually gave it to her at the hospital when she had Sophia, who is almost a year old now! Wow, this year flew! LOL)
