This is a Kaye Wood video where a quilting technique (neat) is demonstrated but in the beginning of the video she shows how to prepare fabric for the washer and dryer so it doen't tangle and form all those wrinkles that area so hard to iron out.

That is neat! (no pun intended) LOL....I use a mesh laundry bag. Works great.

I have used a similar method that, to me, seems easier. I don't unfold the fabric but leave it folded salvage to salvage. Then I fold it accordian style with one yard or so spacing. I then use 6 to giant pins and pin all layers together on the body of the fabric. The pins are are all over the fabric. Half way through the drying cycle I reposition the pins. I have done it this way for lots of years.

I do like topstitch does except I just pin the ends. Her way probably works better.
