Tealfalcon's pumpkin pie sneak peek
5 Attachment(s)
Tealfalcon sent me this CUTE quilt to quilt for her. All beautifully done needle turn applique. It is a bunny hill pattern and it is called Pumpkin Pie. She wanted a lot of dense background fill to really make the applique pop. We also did double batting to really get that faux trapunto look. The bottom layer is an 80/20 blend topped off with Hobbs Polydown. I am using Sew Fine thread for the white areas and the green is Connecting Threads Essential cotton. I will be doing lines on the pumpkins with glide in orange.
I thought I would post a little sneak peek of my progress. I loaded this up late yesterday afternoon so these first pics are before I started working on it today around 11:00. I took an hour off for lunch and another 45 minutes or so for another client pickup. So the below pictures are about 3 hours of work. This is what I have so far. I am probably a third of the way through. |
