Greetings from Italy!
 

Hi there, my name is Lynda and I live in Sardinia, Italy with my partner of 20 years. We retired (early) 10 years ago and decided to sail the Mediterranean and we finally ended up here on the lovely island of Sardinia. We bought a house here, acquired a rescue dog, found a kitten and the rest is history. I went to patchwork lessons about 8 years ago run by a French Canadian lady who speaks English and Italian and enjoy it just sooooooooo much! I only sew in the autumn and winter as its too hot in the summer. I am looking forward to chatting with you on this forum.

What a lovely journey! My husband and I plan on traveling the Med once he retires. So nice to meet you, please share your art.

ciao bambino! welcome to quilting board. i've been to italy once. took a tour w/my husband of 45 years. and i loved every minute of it. i've always wanted to visit italy and this was a dream come true. hope you enjoy the board.

Well, when it is too hot to quilt, it is certainly possible to spend lots of time here learning about quilting.

Welcome from New York! I dream of going to Italy. My grandparents were born there. My parents have been to Italy three times. When my husband was in the Air Force years ago we got orders to San Vito but sadly a week later the orders were changed to Japan which we loved any way. You will love this quilting board. It has so many wonderful,helpful and talented people!
