would u add a border on this or just go ahead and put together and add just the binding? http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...1&d=1365815401

I'd add a border, but that's just me. Pretty top!

I would do a narrow border. But that's just my opinion. Very nice top, I've put this pattern on my "to do" list.

Oh that's pretty! I would add a border! Or two!

kubby343434 04-12-2013 05:18 PM

and what color or colors would u add?

craftychick 04-12-2013 05:36 PM

Very pretty. I would add a border and probably make medium blue, green, purple or red depending on the use of the quilt. I wouldn't make it a light colored border though because of all the white in the top. Just my opinion. Good Luck.

Beautiful Periwinkle but it just doesn't look finished to me without a border. The white edge seems to need something to anchor it?

i would float the center with a narrow white border and then add a colored border, or piano key border.

Oh.....I like that idea!! That's a beautiful quilt.....the one Jenny demo'd and had the controversy about the template, right? Be sure to show us when it's finished and quilted!

This quilt lends itself to just a binding in my opinion. I normally like a border too, but if I were doing this one, I'd add just a multi-colored scrappy binding using the fabrics from the body of the quilt.
