Queen Size Fresh Cut flowers
 

Just finished this paper pieced queen size quilt, designed by Liz Stevens and Stephen Siefert. It is all batik fabric so I couldn't hand quilt as I usually do to my projects. I took it to a LA in Central Oregon, who is a very talented lady and she did a wonderful job. This will be put away for the next wedding in our family. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful quilt! I have a really dumb question to ask. Why can't you hand quilt on the batiks? I've never used batiks.
